Description
Head Lamp Plug Ford Model A early 1928, sold in pairs A14584A
An original style black plastic insert that fits into the base of a 1 bulb headlight where the wires come together, preventing them from shorting out. 1 pair does one car.
Fitting information:-
When the wires come out of the conduit, separate them into the plug; this aligns the wires with the socket in the headlight. Be sure the measurement from the back of the plug to the end of the wire top is .680″ (11/16″). Reproduction wire ends are too long on some brands; this causes the socket spring to bow and short out the wiring. If this is the case, drill the hole in the plastic deeper to recess the wire end to give the proper distance .680″ or 11/16″.
